The Rice-Eccles Stadium expansion enhances the fan experience with new premium seating in luxury suites, loge boxes, club, ledge, and rooftop seating. In addition, the south end zone meeting rooms and locker rooms were replaced with new locker rooms for the home and visiting teams, coaches, and officials. Areas were also added for athletic training, equipment, press operations, and the Utah Marching Band. The new south end zone adds 6,049 seats, taking the total seating capacity to over 51,000. The stadium is currently ranked among the top 30 loudest stadiums in college football! Awards: 2023 Excellence in Concrete Award (ACI Intermountain Chapter), 2022 Best Sports/Entertainment Project Award (ENR Mountain States), 2021 Most Outstanding Project of the Year Award (Utah Construction & Design), 2021 Overall Building/Industrial Project of the Year Award (AGC of Utah).
