This cogeneration plant (designed to generate electricity and functional heat) is a two-story building that utilizes 21st-century technology, design, and construction methods. This complicated project had many obstacles, including a global pandemic and three avalanches during construction; however, the determination of the design and construction team delivered an efficient and sustainable system for Snowbird Resort to use for decades to come. Awarded: 2021 Most Outstanding Specialty Contracting-Mechanical Project Award (Utah Construction & Design).
