The Zions Technology Campus is focused on sustainability and cost efficiency. The sustainably built campus will serve as the company’s primary technology and operations center and is expected to achieve Platinum LEED certification. The project includes low VOC-emitting construction materials, triple-pane exterior glass, electric vehicle charging stations, and efficient heating and cooling systems. More than 75% of the facility’s electricity will be produced from on-site solar energy. The Office structure consists of a 200,000 SF, 6-story building, a 200,000 SF 3-story building, and a 16,000 SF 2-story congregation space, all separated by seismic isolation joints. The office complex is supported by over 380 Torque Down PilesTM. The parking structure is a 5-story, 820-stall garage supported by over 360 Torque Down PilesTM. A portion of the piles beneath the parking garage were installed at a 10-to-15-degree batter for seismic resistance. With Zions Bancorp as one of Utah’s most prominent technology employers, the new campus will accommodate more than 2,000 employees.
