This steel, two-story public building features multiple roof offsets and shapes. The floor system is a composite wide flange beam with a metal deck. The project includes radius roofs, dome roofs, and traditional flat roof frames with arched open web steel joists, wide curved flange, curved tubes, and conventional open web steel trusses. Unique moment frames were used for the lateral force-resisting system to keep an open floor plan. Multi-exterior wall finishes, including brick stone and metal panels, require creative skin details.
