This two-story school replaces the old Edison Elementary School and provides natural daylight to all educational spaces, sustaining a bright and cheerful learning environment for the students. Group collaboration spaces are centrally located on both levels, allowing the public to use the gym space on weekends or after hours. Secure entry and classroom lock-down control doors provide a secure and safe environment for the students and faculty. The school was designed using a simple, economical form, providing a cost-effective solution for the Salt Lake City School District.
