Powering potential in Murray schools

A student cannot focus on a math problem when they are wondering where their next meal will come from. Within the Murray City School District, the reality of food insecurity is closer than many realize. With multiple Title 1 schools and 35% of the student body qualifying for free or reduced lunch programs, the school day is often the only time these children have access to consistent nutrition.

Today, more than 100 Murray students are identified as homeless. These children are navigating their education without the safety net of a stable home or a full pantry.

FFKR Architects and BHB Structural are coming together to bridge this gap. We invite you to join us in ensuring thesestudents have the nourishment—and the tools—they need to thrive.

new this year: the bicycle drive

We are proud to announce a new partnership with the Bicycle Collective. This year, we are collecting used bicycles to help remove one of the biggest barriers to education: transportation.

The Bicycle Collective is a non-profit dedicated to providing refurbished bicycles to those in need. By working directly with Murray and other local school districts, they ensure that students who lack reliable transportation receive a high-quality, refurbished bike at no cost. For many of these students, a bicycle is more than just a ride—it is the guaranteed way they get to school on time, participate in after-school programs, and stay connected to their community.
