A student cannot focus on a math problem when they are wondering where their next meal will come from. Within the Murray City School District, the reality of food insecurity is closer than many realize. With multiple Title 1 schools and 35% of the student body qualifying for free or reduced lunch programs, the school day is often the only time these children have access to consistent nutrition.
Today, more than 100 Murray students are identified as homeless. These children are navigating their education without the safety net of a stable home or a full pantry.
FFKR Architects and BHB Structural are coming together to bridge this gap. We invite you to join us in ensuring thesestudents have the nourishment—and the tools—they need to thrive.
