The University of Utah Hospital Infill project created five levels (15,000 SF) of space dedicated to new equipment for Interventional Radiology and imaging reading rooms, such as the featured Biplane Imaging Machine. This project was challenging for the design and construction team because the building was surrounded on all four sides. Everything had to be lifted over the hospital and lowered by crane, and it was a top priority not to disturb hospital patients.
